This is our chance to go full hibernation mode, away from the “new year, new me” pressures in a place where we can instead connect to our true selves.
We’ll start the day with a traditional Hatha practice, using asana, pranayam, chanting and meditation to bring clarity and balance while energising the body. There’ll be some optional inversion practice, with variations and support to suit all - complete beginners very welcome!
After a quick brew and a chat we’ll come together for a chat on intention setting through the lens of Yoga philosophy, with a discussion on how Yoga can be an integral tool in finding acceptance and calming our nervous system.
We’ll break for a gorgeous lunch to re-energise and refuel, before heading out for a lovely winter walk (weather permitting! If the elements are against us this will be subject to change - good old British weather).
Returning home we’ll prioritise comfort and coziness and go full hibernation mode. We’ll settle into a deep Yin and restorative practice designed to help us find acceptance and happiness within ourselves. We’ll round the day off with an indulgent Yoga Nidra, allowing our intentions to settle in so we might take them forward into the rest of the year.
